xLaunched in early 2003, the Éditions Matière ("Matter Publishings") includes two series and is specialized in comic strips, drawings and theory. The series Imagème focuses on comic strips (works which are, or are close to comic strips). The Un se divise en Deux (“One divides into Two”) series publishes drawings and theory together, placed back to back, clearly separated but acting in common.
The Éditions Matière is a totally independent non-profit organization (created under the French NGOs Law of 1901) not connected to any existing movement or organization.
